Every Sunday for years, Carolyn, a true romantic, rushed to read The New York Times Weddings and Celebrations section. Wedding flowers always captured her attention, inspired her creativity, and ultimately informed her artistry.

After studying art, literature, and politics at the University of Vermont and traveling the world - from Dubai and Costa Rica to Fiji and Switzerland - Carolyn settled in the Roaring Fork Valley in 2004. Making her home here, she soon found herself dangling from rafters while hanging holiday greenery inside the St. Regis Hotel and dotting fresh snowdrifts with rose petals for weddings. She loved every moment and realized her passion and originality could come to life through Carolyn’s Flowers.

More than a decade later, Carolyn still finds herself sprinkling unexpected places with flowers and gracing the most beautiful homes and venues with fresh florals and décor. Carolyn lives in Basalt with her two young daughters. Carolyn’s Flowers is a blooming business that is not only nourished by the support of her loved ones and her steadfast team, but also cultivated by her continued infatuation with all things floral.
