Every Sunday for years, Carolyn Riley, a true romantic, rushed to read The New York Times Weddings and Celebrations section to draw inspiration for her perfect event. Wedding flowers always captured her creativity and informed her artistry.
After studying art, literature and politics at the University of Vermont and traveling the world from Dubai and Costa Rica to Fiji and Switzerland, Carolyn settled in the Roaring Fork Valley in 2004. Making her home here, Carolyn found herself dangling from rafters hanging holiday greenery in the St. Regis Hotel and dotting snowdrifts with rose petals for weddings. She loved it. She realized her passion and artistry could come to life through Carolyn’s Flowers.
For eight years, Carolyn and her team have worked closely with clients to create original floral and decor designs for the most intimate occasions and full-scale celebrations – from a French-themed dinner party at a private home in Aspen to a 400-guest modern, tented wedding at T Lazy 7.
Carolyn and her team have artistic vision and pitch-perfect execution to exceed your expectations for every Colorado wedding, corporate event and occasion. Once you see Carolyn’s Flowers’ work, you’ll agree with them that flowers and decor truly are the most distinguishing element of any special event.
Carolyn lives with her family above Basalt in Missouri Heights. Flowers and weddings and events are a major focus of the whole family day to day. Once, her 3 week old baby had to get to “work” at a last minute Christmas decor project! The design studio is based out of Basalt, but they deliver to all of the Roaring Fork Valley and Colorado.
Carolyn’s Flowers is proud to donate flowers and our services to several nonprofit events in the Roaring Fork Valley. This year alone we supported the following organizations: Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, Challenge Aspen, The Buddy Program, Aspen to Parachute Dental Health Alliance and the Chris Klug Foundation
